Abstract

Sustainable mining practices aim to minimize the
environmental and social impact of mining activities while
ensuring the efficient use of natural resources for economic
development. This project focuses on innovative strategies that
balance resource extraction with ecosystem preservation,
stakeholder welfare, and community engagement. Emphasizing
renewable energy integration, waste management, and land
reclamation, the study explores methodologies to mitigate
greenhouse gas emissions, water pollution, and biodiversity loss.
By analyzing case studies and implementing eco-friendly
technologies, the project provides actionable insights into
fostering sustainability in mining operations. The findings
emphasize the importance of adopting a circular economy
approach and policy frameworks to ensure the long-term
viability and responsibility of the mining industry.
