Conflict of Interest and Financial Disclosures (Editors)
Editors of International Journal of Ayurveda and Phytochemistry decide on manuscripts on scholarly merit alone.
- An editor does not handle a manuscript written by themselves, a family member, a close colleague or a member of their own institution, or one in which they have a financial interest.
- Such manuscripts are assigned to another editor, and the conflicted editor has no access to the reviews or the decision.
- Submissions by editors or editorial board members go through the same double-blind review as any other.
- Editors declare relevant financial and professional interests to the publisher and update them when they change.
- Editorial decisions are never influenced by advertising, payment of charges or the publisher's commercial interests.
The general rules are in the Conflict of Interest Policy.
