Complaints and Appeals
International Journal of E-Commerce and Information Systems welcomes genuine complaints and treats them as a chance to put things right.
Appeals against a decision
An author who believes a decision was based on a factual error or an unfair review may appeal in writing within 30 days, setting out the reasons point by point. The appeal is considered by an editor who was not involved in the original decision, and may be sent to a further reviewer. The decision on an appeal is final.
Complaints about process or conduct
Complaints about delays, handling or the conduct of editors or reviewers should be sent to the editorial office through the Contact page. Complaints are acknowledged and investigated, and the complainant is told the outcome. If the complaint concerns the editor, it is handled by the publisher.
The journal follows COPE guidance in handling complaints.
